Coco is a Double
NB2 (2nd Generation Double New Blood ) out of the Artus & Orbit
lines. Her sire, Sirius, is from the Artus line and her dam, Jessie
is out of Orbit.
Okay it has finally
happened, I've been joking about the fact that my Shilohs my be
smarted than me and I believe it may now be true!
On Sunday we were at Petsmart
for socialization and toys, toys and more toys! I parked got out
and got a shopping cart, wheeled it up to my Expedition and opened
the back to see my very impatient puppies waiting for their next
adventure.
I first placed Remy (my 12 week
old Foxy/Blue girl) in the cart. She is a plush coat and is close
to 30 pounds and looks like a bear cub. When people stop me and
ask how old is the puppy I say 12 weeks and then they say "he"
is really a big guy, I say "she", "she" is a
big girl! Then I put in my Coco (10 week old Jessie/Sirius girl)
she is lovely femine, very serious smooth coat. It took us twenty
minutes to get from the car to the front door of Petsmart. We were
bombarded by people who wanted to talk baby talk to the puppies.
One woman was so excited she let go of her loaded down shopping
cart came over to the puppies and the cart started rolling down
hill it almost hit two parked cars....no lie!
Okay back to my story... while
we were in the store lots of people came over to greet us. Remy,
when greeting someone puts her whole body into the action, poor
Coco would get knocked down everytime someone came over. Coco was
friendly but reserved.. yes you may pet me now while Remy screams
pet me, pet me, come on pet me!
So I think due to Remy's over
exuberence Coco decided she no longer wanted to share her "ride"
with the bear cub! She watched and waited until we came to a stop
to check out toys. Now as you know it is very important that I enjoy
playing with the toys as well as the puppies so there is a need
to try them ALL out. I'm at the pushing end of the cart my sister
at the helm. At this time Coco decided it was time to put her plan
into action. We stopped and were looking at the toys, in the span
of about 10 seconds Coco scaled down the front of the cart, leaped
onto my sister's leg and slid down it like a fireman upon hearing
the firehouse siren go off and with the grace of a gazelle promptly
landed on the floor! She was in the midst of trying to decide which
direction she should go when she realized she was on a lead and
wasn't going anywhere. The look on he face was priceless. She figured
after all that hard work and planning she should be free.
And that concludes our Sunday
adventure...stay tuned of more.
